Texas Title Match
American Dragon Bryan Danielson
vs
TWE TV Champion JT LaMotta
Danielson has held the Ring of Honor World Title as well as several other titles around the world. He has been called one of the best in the business.
LaMottas star is on the rise, winning several high profile matches in Texas recently, including the Anarchy Championship Wreslings title from anotther Ring of Honor star Jimmy Jacobs, and has ventured out to Japan as well. A win over Dragon surely will raise some eyebrows. It has been learned that Danialson has been training the last few weeks in Randy Coutures MMA gym in Las Vegas Nevada. "I learned a while back no one can be taken lightly, and that includes LaMotta' said AD in a phone conversation recently.
TWE Texas Tag Team Title Match
The Dynamic Duo
vs
Cowboy James Claxton / Dusty Wolf
Dynamic Duo were awarded the titles after The Gulf Coast Connection were unable to fullfill thier obligation in mid 2007. After a couple of near losses, the team has ducked Claxton and Wolf for several months. TWE Commisioner Manny Fernandez stopped by the 1/3 Texas Impact event and announced if The Dynamic Duo did not defend the titles in February, they would be stripped. Claxton and Wolf are former Souhtern Championship Wrestling Tag Team Champions, and they are looking at adding the TWE titles to their list. On the Horizon is former SCW tag Champs Double Trouble and a few others for the winners of this long awaited match up.
SCW Title Match
Showtime Scott Summers
vs
Qunten Allen
Allen has impressed prmoters since his return in matches vs SCW Open Division Champion Rory Foxx. Due to the new TWE rankings, Allen is inline to face the SCW Champion. Summers, a former ACW Champion has more 'Big Match' experience than Allen, spending the last 2 years facing former ECW World Champion Jerry Lynn.
Rumor has it if Summers is victorious on 2/14, he will face another former ECW World Champion
Galan Ramirez vs Jasper 'The JackHammer' Davis
The Jakester, upset over his loss to Galan Ramirez, on 1/3 is asking for a rematch due to Galan scoring the win with a handfull of trunks. Galan refuses. These two individuals have met twice with each one scoring a victory. Rameriz has signed to face The JackHammer, a new face to TWE who was very impressive in his firts showing. Looks like the Jakester will have to wait.
Ladies Texas Title #1 Contender Match
Diamond Icee
vs
Claudia Solis
Becky Bayless holds the title. Both women want a shot at the belt. Coincidently, these two have been fueding in several other areas as well. It now comes to TWE.
Solid Gold Greg Symonds has asked, and will appear at Texas Impact on 2/14 as an observer to the TWE Texas Title Match AND the SCW Title match as well, as he has a vested interest in both belts. Symonds has been injured the better part of 2008, and is just now getting back into the ring. Symonds faced Danielson a year ago in a losing effort, and vows if theres a next time, the outcome will be different. Symonds is also negotiatiing with SCW for a title shot as well. as when he got injured, he was holding that promotions belt, and was forced to relinquish it, thus never losing the belt in the ring.
Still more interest in the SCW title as Dick Dallas will be in the house, as he was stripped of the title in December, and is awaiting to make his return.
A lot of action going on in the ring as well as outhside.
Dont forget , with a Military ID, in recognition of the sacrafice our Troops and their families have had to endure, these past years, they will recieve free admission.
Doors Open at 6:45, Bell Time is 7:30 sharp.

UNBELIEVABLE! Updated 1/17/2009
That's the ONLY word I can come up with for the person that tried to 'RICK SHAW' the TWE and TWA websites. Sorry buddy, I guess the only thing you have left is that punch in the mouth. Except, YOU'LL be on the receiving end. Haha. I have some people looking into to it. I wont worry about it too much. Already know that you were bored at 10:25 on Friday the 16th. Just have to match up a few numbers and we will know who you are. You really need to spend your time more wisely.
And with that note, I want to say 'Thanks' to Mark for making some pretty cool changes to the websites. Nothing wrong with Sergios efforts, except for his plate being full, sometimes the updates were slow. I completely understood. Must be nice traveling to Guatemala, and wherever else. Mark has made some cool changes. We've spent the most part of a week doing whatever needed to be done. Lots of work. Too much for a miserable jabronie to screw up. By the way, its been awhile since I went to Hooters. And the TWA surely is not the SMWA. Get your facts straight. I will find out who you were soon enough.
The Texas Champion Bryan Danielson comes to town on February 14th. 7yr vet and TV Champ JT LaMotta will have a 'sweetheart of a deal', trying to show the rest of the wrestling world he is a true big time player in this game. LaMotta has had success in other promotions around Texas, but going head to head against the American Dragon will be, by far, his toughest match
The TWE Commissioner Manny Fernandez was in the house on January 3rd Texas Impact. What a great way to start off the New Year as he took it upon himself to pit the Tag Team Champions, The Dynamic Duo of Rory Fox and Rudy Boy Gonzalez against the team of James Claxton and Dusty Wolf. Some say Fox and Gonzalez have been ducking Claxton and Wolf. Gonzalez simply states it was a matter of miscommunication, and Claxton and Wolf would have gotten a title shot eventually. So as an added Main Event for February 14th, the Texas Tag Team Titles will be on the line as well. Another twist was added, when on October a group labeled as The Texas Wrestling Mafia ventured up to East Texas' FEW and challenged the promotions best. Brett Thunder went up against newly signed WWE Developmental talent and FEW Champion Byron Wilcott and the team of Claxton and Gonzalez met the Tag Team Champions known as Genesis. Gonzalez, Claxton and Thunder all came up on losing ends, but a mark was made. In November, Claxton met Wilcott in a match that was stopped due to outside Interference by Gonzalez. In December, Wicott and Claxton met in a rematch in which Claxton emerged victorious, defeating Wilcott and named the new FEW Champion. Claxton credited the support of the fans for his victory. In January, the TWM with new member Fox arrived at FEW with the understanding that Claxton would drop the title to Fox and keep the belt 'in the family'. This is Claxtons first singles title win outside of TWE and he did not wish to just 'drop; the title to Rory Fox. The TWM returns to FEW on February 4th, minus Claxton and will challenge the FEW Champion and a partner of his choice. This is going to be a very interesting set of circumstances. Add to that, the Claxton / Wolf team, former holders of the Southern Championship Wrestling tag titles will also be going head to head against the current Tag Champions Violent Rage. VR is yet another team to be coming up in the ranks. More on this team next week.
Quinten Allen will be returning to TWE on February 14th as well. Allen is looking at getting a hold of a title as well. His match's with Rory Fox have been nothing short of exciting.
Also, please make a note, any and all Military with ID are admitted to any TWE event free of charge. That's our way of honoring the troops.
TWE has catapulted several careers into the big stage. Anytime you see TWE in your area, make sure to make it a point to be in attendance, as you are sure to see a star of tomorrow, today.
Don't forget, this Tuesday we, as a country embark on a new future, unlike one we have ever seen. I'm not into the 'details', as some, most notably Oprah Winfrey, but yes, Barack Obama is a president 'of color' as they say. In my eyes, he's just a man. He's no different than the first president or our last one. But to some, his skin color is one to celebrate. Our country has a lot of problems. Lets just hope he can inch us out of where we are now. So as I just said, He's just a man. And he will get a load put on his shoulders this Tuesday. I personally, wish him luck
